Cancellation & Refund
Cancellation and refund outcomes depend on the service booked, supplier rules and the stage at which a request is made.

1. General rule
Travel bookings are subject to the cancellation, amendment and refund conditions of the applicable airline, hotel, tour operator, insurer, visa service provider or other supplier. These conditions will be communicated where applicable before or at confirmation.
2. Cancellation requests
Customers should contact Sunshine Travels as soon as possible when they wish to cancel or amend a booking. A request is not treated as cancelled until it has been acknowledged and processed.
3. Refunds
Where a supplier permits a refund, Sunshine Travels will assist with the applicable refund process. Refund amounts may be reduced by supplier cancellation charges, fare rules, non-refundable components, taxes or applicable service fees.
4. Non-refundable bookings
Some airline fares, hotel rates, packages, visa services, insurance products and promotional bookings may be wholly or partly non-refundable. Any applicable restriction forms part of the booking conditions.
5. Flight changes and disruptions
If an airline or other supplier changes, delays or cancels a service, the available alternatives and refund rights are generally governed by that supplier’s rules. Sunshine Travels can assist customers in communicating with the relevant supplier.
6. Visa and insurance services
Visa application charges, embassy fees and certain service charges may be non-refundable once processing has started. Insurance cancellation and refund conditions are determined by the relevant insurer and policy terms.
7. Processing time
Refund processing time depends on the supplier and payment method. Sunshine Travels cannot guarantee an exact processing period where a third party controls the refund.
